Cast and Crew
Writer/director Andrew Whitwell Larrison is the twisted genius behind Zombie Christ. A native of Syracuse, NY, Andrew attended Christian Brothers Academey. He enjoys hiking, dodging the wrath of religious zealots, and writing novels and screenplays.
Linn Brooklyn ("Mary Magdalene") hails from Los Angeles, California. When not spear-hunting sharks from her Zodiac inflatable raft, Linn enjoys gymnastics and reading. She is a graduate of UC Berkeley who works as a performer in Portland, OR. Seriously.
Thomas Patrick ("Zombie Christ"/"Jesus of Nazareth") is a vegetarian who really suffered during the liver-eating scene. He was last seen in Indianola, Iowa. Thomas's current whereabouts are unknown.
Seth Bateman ("Simon called Peter") is a native Oregonian, playwright, and actor. He recently moved to L.A. to leverage his stunning work in ZC into professional acting gigs. If anyone can make it in that cold-titted town, it's Seth Bateman. Yeah!
Meyer Harrison ("Bladelicker") is a Carver, Oregon native...who had his movie debut as Det. John Power in Myra Dagger's Seats of Power.... In order to support his acting habit, Meyer grooms animals.(full text)
Ron Walker (Director of Photography) was an instrumental force in the early stages of Zombie Christ. A pianist and painter, Ron is no longer associated with the project for reasons we won't go in to now.
Savage Henry ("Chief") is another Syracusan transplanted to Portland. Unlike the other people associated with this movie, Sav has a real career. He also has a rottweiler. Nicest dog in the world, but still, consider yourself warned.
Cornelius VanderGelding ("O.D.") is a UNIX guru and Harvard Divinity School drop-out. He does not look anything like the guy in this picture, and in fact, he's not even in the movie. You never heard of him, okay?!
Beth Bracco did more work on this movie than can be summed up in this small space (viz. costumes, make-up, props, casting, and playing "Pukin' Luke"). She has the dubious honor of being Andrew Larrison's wife.
Anson Mathews provided the spectral guitar work that haunts Zombie Christ. He is Andrew Larrison's oldest friend and a world-reknown trainer of hunting monkeys. Next time you're in Seattle, check out his band Nefarious Jones. And get drunk while you're at it.
Aaron Wheeler-Kay has been performing since the age of 5, when he put his trademark on the role of Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carol." Your basic polymath, AWK provided piano, drums, and marimba compositions to ZC.
Igor St.Satan ("Matthew") is the 1988 winner of the Lithuanian Directors Guild's prestigious Golden Claw for Best Performance in a Musical Comedy. Knowing not a single word of English, "Ig" was nevertheless a favorite of the cast and crew. He's dead now.
La Barge ("Disciple #1") is perhaps the most accomplished of our talented cast. Just off an eight year engagement in "Starlight Express", La plays .50 caliber machinegun in The Ludovico Method, a Pacific NW combat-rock band.
Jenn Hastings ("Disciple #2") is an actor and licensed music therapist originally from Lutvisk, Sweden. During production, Jenn made sure we maintained an appropriate level of inebriation through her homebrewed "beer", known simply as Yor.
Shel Drake ("Disciple #3") also worked as a production assistant on the shoot. A former Royal Navy demolitions expert, Shel was in-valuable in rigging the numerous explosions and pyrotechnics that make Zombie Christ such a visual stunner.

(Meyer Harrison is a Carver, Oregon native who grew up above his father's butchery, and worked as a meat renderer until fleeing for the big city (Portland) to pursue an independent film career. He had his movie debut as Detective John Power in Myra Dagger's Seats of Power and was asked back for Power of Two. Other industry credits include Frog Catcher in a local electricity safety Public Service Announcement, and Hyrum's Friend #2 in the comic short Two Backward Glances. In order to support his acting habit, Meyer grooms animals at Pa's Paws in Hillsboro.) back up

The rottweiler in question.
